Brand Partnerships

Brand Partnerships for Artists Who Know What They’re Worth

IQ Artist Management links artists with brands that align with the stage and trajectory they are at in their careers. We have long-running established relationships with international broadcasters, including BBC, ITV, and Netflix. These naturally sit alongside a wide network of contacts across fashion, lifestyle, and technology. Brand partnerships are part of our full management service.

We don’t consider artistic credibility to be a bargaining chip. Every deal IQ puts in front of an artist gets measured against one question: Does this fit who they are?

What Good Brand Partnerships Look Like

The difference between a partnership that works and one that backfires comes down to the fit. An artist fronting a brand that has nothing to do with what they represent looks like a cash grab to fans, and fans are exceptionally perceptive about this. IQ starts with the artist and works outward, not the other way round. What does this artist stand for? Who follows them? What would feel natural?

Those questions shape every conversation IQ has with prospective brand partners. We do not pitch artists at brands indiscriminately. The network we have established is broad, but the approach is selective, and that is what gives the deals we secure their value.

The Power of Brand Partnerships

Brand partnerships, done well, can do things that a standard release campaign cannot. A well placed endorsement reaches audiences that streaming algorithms will miss. A product collaboration that genuinely reflects the artist’s world, whilst also the listener, can deepen fan engagement in ways that feel earned rather than manufactured. At IQ we know the difference, and that shapes every conversation we have with brands.

How IQ Assesses Brand Fit

IQ sits down with artists long before any brand conversations happen. What are they known for? What are they building over the next two years? Who is their current audience? Who are they trying to reach? The answers narrow the field considerably. Some brands are an obvious no. Others might look unlikely but make perfect sense for a specific artist at a specific career point. Getting that judgment right is what we do.

Industry Connections and Collaboration

IQ Brand Partnership opportunities

IQ’s connections span fashion, lifestyle, technology, broadcasting, and way beyond. These are relationships built over years, not outreach lists, and that shows in which opportunities actually come through. Sponsorships, endorsements, product collaborations, and exclusive events are all formed through bespoke partnerships. The form a partnership takes gets shaped around what makes sense for that specific artist.

Mutually Beneficial Partnerships

A brand deal that works only for the brand is often a bad deal for the artist. IQ negotiates terms that make sense from both sides, and “both sides” includes the artist’s fanbase. When a partnership alienates an audience, it has a short shelf life commercially as well as artistically. So terms get negotiated with that in mind: fair splits, genuine creative involvement where appropriate, and clear exit conditions if the relationship stops working.

What IQ Brings to Brand Partnership Work

IQ’s existing connections with BBC, ITV, Netflix, and a range of consumer brands mean artists are not starting from cold outreach. Those relationships take years to build, and they have a direct bearing on which deals come through and how quickly. IQ Music, the publishing subsidiary, opens further routes into brand work that most management companies cannot access.

IQ works with artists at different career stages, but the approach does not change. Whether an artist is building an audience or already has one, brand partnerships get treated the same way. We assess the fit, negotiate with care, and manage properly once in place.
