Supernova (Edit) by Peshay is available everywhere now

“Supernova (Edit)” expertly starts with serene emotion, layer after layer is then added to make an ambience of sound, that builds and builds to a crescendo. “It’s a journey through the galaxies” says Peshay. “A soundscape through time and space.” “Supernova is also a direct reference to my days on Good Looking Records” he says. ”It really reminds me of that ambient drum and bass sound that was synonymous with GLR back in the 90s.” Peshay was one of the originators of the early GLR sound, with tracks such as “Piano Tune”, “Jazz Lick” and his collab with LTJ Bukem “19.5.”

“Making Supernova reminded me of those days, great memories.” “It was a time where the unity in the scene was the thing I remember the most, there was a real sense of camaraderie.” states Peshay.

With Supernova (Edit) Peshay once again displays his versatility as a producer, and shows us why he is regarded in the way he is. The term legend is used far too often but, in this case is applied must appropriately as he is regarded as a founder of drum and bass music and considered an icon.

The new album Re·View will be a two part collection of remastered edits from Peshay Music. “I had the idea to reinvent some tracks from earlier on in the labels life cycle.” “The world has changed so much in the last five years, as has the music” says Peshay.

One thing we’ll always need is a reminder of soulful music and Peshay’s releases will serve as a much needed reminder of his obligations to that worthy cause.
