Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Music Marketing Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to promote our artists and their music. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse roster of talented musicians and artists. You will directly contribute to their success on a global scale.
Daily Responsibilities
- Create and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns to maximise the visibility and reach of our artists.
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for album releases, tours, and other key initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with artists, managers, and other team members to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
- Utilise digital platforms and social media channels to engage fans, build a strong online presence, and drive audience growth.
- Analyse market trends, consumer insights, and data to identify opportunities for artist promotion and revenue generation.
- Coordinate with publicists, influencers, and media outlets to secure meaningful coverage and exposure for our artists.
- Monitor and optimize marketing campaigns to maximize their effectiveness and achieve measurable results.
- Authentic commitment to stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices.
About You:
- Deep passion for music and a strong understanding of the music industry landscape.
- Proven experience in music marketing, preferably within a record label, management company, or related field.
- Excellent project management skills with strong abilities in multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to drive data-informed marketing decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with artists and stakeholders.
- High proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media management, and analytics tools.
- A creative mindset with the proven ability to think laterally and develop innovative marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate execution of marketing plans.
Desirable Qualities:
- Educated to degree standard in a relevant subject area.
- Knowledge of music streaming platforms, online music distribution, and digital rights management.
- Familiarity with music licensing, copyright laws, and contract negotiations.
- Experience in managing brand partnerships and collaborations.
- Understanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software.
- Experience with event marketing and concert promotion.
